HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST CAR BATTERY

HOW BATTERIES WORK

Car batteries are electrical storage units that convert chemical energy into electrical energy. The basics of running a car battery have not really changed in 70 years. Your car's battery is a lead-acid design; the acid, or electrolyte, reacts with the lead plates inside the battery to produce electricity.

It is therefore not surprising that the power of a large engine is greater than that of a small engine. Your battery must therefore be dimensioned and evaluated accordingly. Vehicles today have much more demanding electrical loads from many computers, modules and accessories and will need a battery powerful enough for these systems to work properly. Overloading an automotive battery by installing too small a battery to meet all the power demands of the vehicle can lead to premature failure of the electrolyte reaction. Best Car Batteries
